The Hap Happiest Season of All

I love the Christmas season. The music, the decorations, the lights, family getting together. It is my favorite time of the year. This year we were lucky enough to have our whole family together for Christmas. Unfortunately I was only able to be home for a few days, I had to come back for work, but we had a great time. I flew in Wednesday morning, left my apartment at 4:30 am to be exact. We went to the Farmer's Market, made cake pops (my mom and sisters had already made tons of other goodies) and just spent time together.
On Thursday we took family pictures, Jonny acted as our photographer.
Christmas Eve we had a big dinner, we had the sister missionaries over as well as a few of the older sisters in the ward.
We opened our Christmas Eve presents, PJs of course, and then headed to bed.

It amazes me that even at 23 I still find it hard to fall asleep on Christmas Eve. Christmas morning we woke up and exchanged gifts.
Waiting for the ok to come out.

We spent the rest of the day relaxing and spending time together. I had to leave on Monday evening so it was a quick trip but I was so grateful to get to spend time with my family. I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful family and to be able to travel to spend time with them. I hope everyone else had a wonderful Christmas season. Happy New Year!

Will it Blend?

Karleigh and I were at Costco Saturday and they had a display for the Blendtec blender. This thing is amazing! It adjusts the speed itself so smoothies are even and smooth. It make ice cream and hot soup! No, I'm not selling it, I just really want one. Karleigh and I were marveling at it. Blendtec in actually based in Orem. I have seen them at Costco a few times but I first learned about the company in my marketing class. The owner makes "Will it Blend" videos. Like this one... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAl28d6tbko They have become a huge YouTube hit. The owner take random stuff to see if it will blend. Golf balls, marbles, iPads, iPhones. Well, at Costco the owner was there. We got a picture with him.
The coolest part was right after this picture we watched him blend that rake. We were amused.
In case you were wondering there is one thing the Blendtec blender won't blend. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9V-goCaua0

Christmas Sweatshirts

A few weeks ago Jonny and I were at WalMart and they had Christmas sweatshirts. We found one with a moose on it and decided we had to get it for Kirstin (moose are her favorite animal.) Then we say one that said "Happy Holly Days" so I had to get it for me since it had my name on it. Then I wanted to get one for Karleigh so the three of us could have Christmas sweatshirts so I found one that had cute candy canes on it. We also got the in 2XL so the would be big and comfy and fit into the ugly Christmas sweater category. I also thought it would be cute to get all dressed up and then put them on and take pictures. So today Jonny was kind enough to act as the photographer for our Christmas sweatshirt photo shoot. Personally, I think we make the giant sweatshirts work.
Mature huh?
This one makes me laugh.
Then of course I made Jonny take some with me. He didn't like wearing Karleigh's belt.

He didn't want a kiss.
Then he decided to attack me with a hug.
I know I put up a lot of pictures but I couldn't choose which ones to use so I just put most of them up.
